Meet The Dentists

Dr. Erik Skatvold attended Gustavus Adolphus College and Concordia College before entering dental school. He earned his DDS at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2000.

After graduation, Dr. Skatvold served in the US Navy for four years, where he earned his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) certificate from Naval Dental Center in Norfolk, VA. He was then privileged to take an assignment to Keflavik, Iceland for three years as a staff dentist for the naval base.

Upon completion of his tour in the Navy, Dr. Skatvold returned to his hometown of Moorhead, MN and started his own private dental practice. Dr. Skatvold maintains membership in Spear Study Club and is a CDOCS mentor.

He and his wife, Karina, have one son. In his free time, Dr. Skatvold enjoys spending time at the lake, golfing, snowmobiling, and hanging out with his family.

Dr. William Johnson is originally from Grand Forks, ND and graduated from North Dakota State University in 2009 with a degree in Zoology. He earned his DDS at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2013. Dr. Johnson is a member of the Heartland Study Club. Dr. Johnson has received additional advanced training in dental implantology and has provided care at dental outreach centers in MN and ND.

Dr. Johnson is married to his wife Annessa and has four children, one of which will be in the NHL or WWE. In his free time, you can find him on the golf course and keeping busy with all his kid's activities. His favorite store is Hornbachers, where he is always purchasing the newest hot sauce.
