Your First Dental Visit
You should plan to spend approximately one hour at your first appointment at our dental office in Fargo Moorhead. After taking digital X-rays, updating your records, and discussing your expectations and concerns, Dr. Skatvold and Dr. Johnson will discuss treatment options that meet your needs. You’ll also meet with our hygienist for a dental cleaning if you don’t have gum disease.
Dental Insurance
At Moorhead Dental Associates, we file out-of-network insurance claims. Our dentists are in network with Dental Service Corporation, Delta Dental Premier, and United Concordia. We accept assignment of dental benefits, which means that you will pay your portion (copay or deductible) at your visit, and we’ll receive direct reimbursement from your insurance company for their portion.
Payment & Financing
You can pay for your dental care with cash, check, Discover, MasterCard, American Express, or Visa. We also work with CareCredit patient financing. This reputable institution offers low and no-interest loans to qualified applicants. Apply online and receive results for your application immediately.

Our team always has someone on call for patients on record in the case of a dental emergency. During office hours, call our office and we’ll do our best to see you the same day.
